Rosemary Prato

Rosemary Prato, 69, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home in Longmont Colorado.She was born November 12, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to James and Jennie (Vecchio) Paone.Rosemary earned a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education from SUNY Cortland in New York.On July 19, 1969 in East Syracuse, NY she married Douglas J. Prato.Rosemary was an elementary school teacher for five years. As she began a family Rosemary devoted her time to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker. After her sons were older she returned to work as a customer service representative for Chase Bank.She was of Catholic faith.She was preceded in death by her parents.Rosemary is survived by her husband Doug of Longmont, two sons Adam Prato and wife Lorena Padron of Iowa City, Iowa and Aaron Prato and wife Tara of Springs, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren Jackson and Owen Prato and a brother James Paone of Sarasota, FL.Memorial services will be held at 11:30am Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
