
Roy Glenn Carver passed away on November 15, 2013, he was born on January 1, 1935 (78) to Ray and Martha Garver of Lyons, CO.He married his High School sweetheart, Karen Trueblood on January 31, 1957, and they began their country lifestyle together which included horses and raising longhorn cattle, first in Erie then they moved to Lamar, Nebraska to live on their 230 acre ranch.Glenn participated in team roping and they ran a roping club, the Tri-County roping Club. While mostly roped for fun, he also roped in some amateur rodeos and local jackpots.He was a great supporter of his daughters and grandchildren, be it sports, team roping, or anything they became involved in.He is survived by his wife Karen, two daughters, Tracie Richardson- Markheim(J l) of Ault, Co. & Teresa Martin of Erie, Co., six grandchildren,Jayson Richardson, Raelynn (Richardson)& J Ferrera, Sarah Stoudt, Sheri (Martin) & Jimmy Peterson, Casey Martin & Jeremiah Bateman, and great grandson Cael Randy Ferrera and great granddaughter Charley Rae Ferrera.Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Ray & Martha Garver, a son-in-lawV. Randy Richardson & brother-in-law Terry Trueblood.Honoring Glenn's wishes, no services will be held.
