She was married to Joseph Dodds who preceded her in death, along with her parents.
Ruth spent her working career as a secretary in the construction field.
Survivors include her sons Joe Dodds and Bill (Cheryl) Dodds of Longmont, 5 grandchildren: Michael Dodds of Lake Tahoe, CA, Kelly Gibson of Princeton, NJ, Kevin Dodds (Christine) of Wayne, New Jersey, Kristine Heath (Greg) of Lakewood, CO and Casey Dodds (Kim) of Cameron, North Carolina, 7 great grandchildren: Elize Dodds, Kai Gibson, Colin Dodds, Kirsten Dodds, Kyle Dodds, Amanda Dodds and Priscilla Dodds and one great great grandchild Liam Dodds.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
Memorial services and inurnment will be in Laurel Grove, New Jersey.
