

She was born to Harold and Nadine Skaggs. She was the eldest of four children, her brother, Lonny and sisters, Judy and Gloria.
She married Whittley Morrison, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. They got married in Mexico, it was their favorite vacation spot. During the seventies Sandy and Whittley moved with their three children Steven, Leslie, and Michelle to Colorado. In Longmont they built a beautiful home over forty-eight years of marriage.
She had many passions, including education, reading, her pets, and her family. She got a degree in archeology and anthropology. As her children grew she entered back into the workforce as an elementary school librarian, where she shared her love of reading with so many.
Throughout the years she built on her career and received her teaching certificate. She taught adult education in her spare time, inspiring others to lift themselves up. After retirement she used her free time to be a substitute teacher.
Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, Whittley and step son, Whittley Jr, and her grandsons Evan and Jubal.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria, her children, Steven, and her daughters, Leslie and Michelle, her grandchildren, Alani, Taylar, Ian, Joshua, Leif, and Lillith, and her Great Grandchildren, Caitlin, and Silas. As well as many nieces and nephews along with their families that span the states of Colorado and Wyoming.
Cremation is entrusted in Howe Mortuary of Longmont.
A funeral service for Sandy will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont, Colorado 80504.
