Sally was born November 10, 1929 to Frederick Floyd and Elsie Louise Alden. She was the youngest of five children, who grew up on a farm in Dougherty Iowa. She married farm-boy Verne Graham of Modale, Iowa at the age of 22.
Her family lived in various Iowa towns until 1961, when the Graham family moved to Boulder, where the family owned and operated Rollerland/Peppermint Square roller skating business until the early-1970s. She was quite a gourmet cook and worked 2 years decorating bakery cakes. Sally worked at Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder for several years.
She is mother of Mark Graham, Lonnie Garland, and Tamara Spano.
She entered into rest at Life Care Center of Longmont, Colorado, on September 3, 2012, dying of congestive heart failure.
Memorial services will be held in Sunday, September 9 in Longmont, and there will be a graveside service Monday morning at Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder
