Sharon Alexander went home to be with the Lord June 30, 2012.She was born March 19, 1940 in Littleton, CO to James and Lois Thompson. She grew up all over Colorado.Sharon had a Master's degree in education. She taught in public school until the year 1976, when she opened the Assembly Christian School in Lafayette, Louisiana. She moved to Colorado and worked at the Boulder Medical Center from 1999 until her retirement in 2012.Sharon married Stephen Alexander in December of 1956.She is survived by her husband Stephen, daughters Debbie Alexander and Stephanie Kirtley, two grandchildren Kayla Kirtley and S. Mitch Trahan, a brother Jamie Thompson and a sister Shirley.A celebration of Sharon's life will be held later.
