Sharon Crouse (Douglass)

Sharon Ann (Douglass) Crouse of Dacono, died October 18, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO.

Sharon was born February 7, 1947 in Boulder, CO, the daughter of Herbert Elton Douglass and Rena Marcella (Smith) Douglass. On March 19, 1966 she married Donald Crouse in Boulder, CO.

She was raised in Boulder, CO and graduated from Boulder High School in 1966. She worked for Boulder Valley School District for over 30 years in the transportation department. She started as a driver, was promoted to a Transportation Supervisor in 1986 and retired in 2004.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

She is survived by her husband Donald Crouse of Dacono, CO, daughter Marcella (Crouse) Quick of Firestone, CO, son Jason Douglass Crouse of Dacono, CO, Son-in-law Edward Quick of Firestone, CO, grandchildren Ciara Quick, Christian Quick, Blake Crouse and Jason Junior Crouse, Sister Connie (Douglass) Cline of Firestone, CO, nieces Kelly (Craig) Lam of Firestone, CO, Tammy (John) Ford of Westminster, CO, Phoebe Lorenz of Frederick, CO and several great nieces and nephews all in the Front Range area.

Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont, CO with Pastor Brian Thompson officiating. Celebration of life to follow in Firestone, directions available at services,
