

Steven Michael Cline, of Loveland, Colorado, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at his home following an extended illness. He was 58 years old.Steve was born September 4, 1947 in Dunlap, Iowa to Chester and Ruth (Bullock) Cline. He grew up on his family?s farm and attended schools near Dunlap. He moved to Colorado in 1966.Steve married Jan Stephens on July 24, 1971 in Lakewood, Colorado. They made their home in the Denver area for several years before moving to Riverton, Wyoming in 1982. He moved from Riverton to Loveland in 1997.Mr. Cline had worked for several years as a service manager for various auto dealerships including Riverton Chrysler, Weaver-Beatty Oldsmobile in Lakewood and A & B Import Auto in Ft. Collins. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Steve coached youth football and baseball for several years in Riverton. He had served as President of the Riverton Little League Baseball program from 1985 to 1987 as well as President of the Riverton Junior Football League, where he had coached from 1982 to 1994. He also coached teams in the women?s softball league from 1988 to 1992. Survivors include a son, Steven Cline, Jr. and his wife, Janelle, of Loveland; two daughters, Jennifer Pol and her husband, Brandon, of Longmont, and Courtney Cline-Adams of Lakewood; a sister, Margaret Carmichael of Loveland; six grandchildren, Quentin, Madison, Brianna, Anthony, Darien and Alijah; and by his former spouse, Jan Stephens of Lakewood.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas and James Cline; and by a sister, Mary Johnson.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Howe Mortuary, Longmont.Memorials may be made to the Steven Cline Memorial Fund, c/o Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St., Longmont, CO 80501.
