She was born in Manhattan, Kansas to Dean and Alice (Kerns) Sharp. Susan was employed for many years as a commercial mortgage broker. She is fondly remembered for her sweet, intelligent and resilient nature. In 2022 she met the love of her life, Mark, through a blind date and the two shared an instant connection.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mark S. Queripel, step children, Maddie and Max, and her sister, Sally.
