09/21/1981 – 09/25/2026
Tamara Lynn O’Hara was born September 21, 1981, in Santa Ana, California. She passed to our Lord September 25, 2026, in Longmont, Colorado, at the age of 45.
Tami was a beloved daughter, big sister and a mother. She was an avid runner in her early years, running on the Boulder Rad Racers team and accumulated 5 Boulder Boulder age group first place medals. Her catholic faith was very strong, as she began walking in her Neocatechumenal Community at age 12 for many years. A pilgrimage to Laredo, Italy was a highlight, where she learned of Divine Mercy. She loved to sing, dance and act. She had a remarkable gift for choreography. As the oldest of five, she truly loved her younger siblings. She graduated from Fairview High School, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the dance team. She enjoyed performing at Jesters dinner theatre. She had a generous heart.
Her three sons are a blessing for our family and their fathers. She adored them and was always proud of them, yet knew they were safe and secure with their dads.
Tami lived through hardships that many of us can scarcely imagine, including years on the streets and cold Colorado winters. Her illness robbed her of the life that had been so promising in her youth. She returned to her faith at the end and received God’s mercy and love, dying with her mother at her side. Her family will remember her free spirit, great faith, her talent, her generosity, and the many ways she made them think and feel.
Tami is survived by her three beloved sons, Thomas Scheltinga, Trevin Webb, and Terrick Webb; her mother, Cheryl Johnson; her stepfather, Dave Johnson; her grandparents, Gary and Charlene Crawford; sisters: Julianne Flesner, Deborah Eichhorn and Diana Van Cleave; and her brothers, David Johnson and Michael O’Hara.
She joins her father, Russ O’Hara, and her sister, Cassandra Johnson, in heaven.
