Teresa L. Barkley

Teresa Landis Evans Lundin Barkley passed away September 17, 2012 at the HospiceCare Center in Louisville, Colorado. She was 53.Teresa was born May 19, 1949 in Miami, Florida to Luther L. and Beverly (Wood) Evans. She was raised in Miami, a real sunshine girl. She graduated from Coral Gables High School and attended Florida State University for two years. She met and married Ken Lundin on June 8, 1968 and together they moved to Vermont where she raised her family. Later Ken and Teresa divorced.Teresa moved to Longmont in 1982 from South Londonderry, Vermont. She married John Barkley in Louisville, Colorado on December 26, 1989.Teresa worked for many High Tech companies along the Front Range as a Senior Electronics Buyer until her retirement in 2000.She enjoyed traveling, cruising, and spending time with her family.Teresa was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Lundin Adler in 2011; her parents; and her brother Michael Evans.She is survived by her husband John Barkley; her son James Lundin of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren Emily Christine Adler and Easton Dean Adler; her sister-in-law Barbara Evans Kraiss of Vista, California; her stepmother Deborah Evans of Miami, Florida; her niece Cassandra Evans Chester of Rixeyville, Vermont; and her nephew Scott T. Evans of Colorado Springs, Colorado.At Teresa's wish no services will be held. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions in Teresa's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
