Teresa M. Burger

Teresa M. Burger of Longmont died March 13, 2011 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 52 years old.Teresa was born on May 19, 1958 in Greenfield, Iowa, the daughter of Robert G. and Lucille D. (Kuster) Burger. She moved to Colorado with her family in 1959.Teresa worked for Eventide of Longmont (now Applewood Living Center) when she was 16 years old. Teresa also worked in a factory, a state mental home, and was employed as a Cable Installer/ Assembler at Sherwood Enterprise for 20 years.Teresa's hobbies included making latch hook rugs, completing word searches, and 4-wheeling. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going on Wal-Mart outings and visiting with the Applewood staff. Above all other activities, Teresa enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father.Teresa is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Harrison (Travis) of Longmont; her granddaughter, Jaylynn D. Harrison of Longmont; her mother Lucille Burger of Longmont; three brothers, Tracy Burger, Ken Burger and John Burger and two sisters, Kam Williams and Belinda Marquina. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service. Interment at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Teresa Burger Memorial Fund and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
