Teresa "Terri" Rueckert

Terri was born April 23, 1951 in Evanston, Illinois to Thomas and Mary Hewes. She was one of six children along with sisters Suzie (Zboch), Trudy (Dietzen) and brothers Thomas, Michael and David.

Terri attended Barrington High School and graduated from Monmouth College where she majored in Fine Arts and met her future husband, Steven Rueckert.

Terri was a faithful member of her church and was known for her compassionate nature and giving sprit. An avid lover of snowfalls, lilacs, swimming in any body of water, art and teaching, she spent many hours at an easel or a children’s table sharing her talents with others. “Guggy” to her grandchildren and “Mama” to her kids, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by sons Golden (Denise), Dylan (Betsy), Travis (Robyn), her daughter and favorite Shae (Ryan) Curtis; five grandchildren Jack, Clay, Madelyn, Caden and Naomi and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot on Saturday May 18th at 10:30 AM with a Celebration of Life following the service at 12:00 PM at The Fox Hill Club in Longmont.
