Terrence J. Simington

Terry Simington, 80, died March 16, 2022.

Terry was born in Denver on March 6, 1942 to James and Eileen (Sullivan) Simington. He married Jean Gleckler on November 9, 1963. She survives him. Terry attended East High School in Denver and enlisted in the Navy in 1962 as a Seabee. He served in Okinawa, Guam and Vietnam until 1966. Terry was a car sales man then joined the U.S. Post Office. He retired from U.S. Post Office in 2011.

He is survived by his wife Jean, 2 sons T.J. (Sheridon) Simington, Doug (Lynn) Simington, 5 grandchildren, Shayla Bratton, Caitlin, Jay, Declan and Cullen Simington, 3 great grandchildren, Baileigh, Sarriah and Buddy. Terry is also survived by his sister-in-law Sandy and many nieces and nephews.

Terry enjoyed fishing, gardening, the Colorado Avalanche, the Denver Broncos and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held on Monday March 21, 2022 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont Colorado at 1:00pm.

Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery will be at a later date.
