Terry Wellington

Terry Wellington, 65, died December 14 2011 of a sudden death. Mr. Wellington was born December 1st, 1946 in Los Angeles California to Duke and Eddie Wellington. Mr. Wellington touched the lives of all who knew him and was known for his impeccable work ethic, good character, kindness, sense of humor and generosity. Mr. Wellington served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam as an Air Rescue Crewman and Air Force Firefighter. He spent 12 months in Vietnam. He worked for himself with his son, Chad as a general contractor in southern California before moving to Longmont in 1988. He enjoyed painting, woodworking, fishing, hunting, music, riding his Harley Davidsons, cooking, and reading. He collected antiques and classic cars. He enjoyed spending time with his many loved ones, friends, family, and especially his two granddaughters, Addison and Joslyn. He is survived by his son, Chad Wellington of Longmont; his daughter, Christie Wellington; daughter-in-law, Liliana Wellington; granddaughters, Addison and Joslyn Wellington; brothers, Kirk and Bill Wellington; sisters, A.J. Bohanon and Brady Brauner, and his special friend, Polly Weaver. We will love and miss him forever. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wellington Scholarship Fund for his grandchildren and contributions may be mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
