Tom was born on March 31, 1942, to Balthaser and Catherine Hepp in Denver, Colorado. He was one of six siblings, whom he adored and looked up to throughout his life. Together, the siblings grew up on the family farm, where they worked hard and helped maintain the many different aspects of farm life.
After graduating from high school, Tom began his career as a meat cutter, later in life, after retiring from Sysco Foods, he held jobs for the Town of Frederick and Saddleback Golf Course in Firestone. In his free time, he loved spending time with his family. Some of his favorite memories were made taking them fishing and camping. When he wasn’t surrounded by family, Tom enjoyed playing a good game of poker and spending mornings on the golf course.
Above all, Tom cherished his faith. He loved attending St. John’s Catholic Church in Longmont, Colorado, and his faith was an important part of his life. He made sure to share that faith and its values with his family.
Tom was incredibly proud to be a grandfather and great-grandfather. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, discover the world around them, and become the people they were meant to be. Their lives brought him immense happiness and pride.
Tom will be remembered as a loving and supportive brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a devoted parent and a loyal friend who was always there for the people he loved.
