

Timothy Rhon ""Tim"" Hill, of Longmont died April 10, 2006. He was 52.Tim was born on February 2, 1954 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Thomas J. Hill and Mary Lee Petit Hill. He moved to Boulder from Gary, Indiana in 1963.Tim graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder in 1972 where he was active in football, lettering three years playing both tight end and defensive tackle. He was selected All Centennial League and All-State his senior year. He attended the University of Utah on a football scholarship his freshmen year. He returned to the University of Colorado the following year where he majored in accounting. Tim married Pam Stryker in 1978 in Boulder. They were later divorced. He married Anita Kotlisky on August 10, 1989 in Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Hill worked for StorageTek from 1978 to 1982 as a programmer. In 1982 he moved to San Diego, where he joined the Dupont Company, assisting in sales, training and implement of software programs to provide inventory controls.In 1993, he returned to Boulder where he joined his father in commercial real estate, forming the Three Hills Development Company. Working with his father was something he took great pride and enjoyment and was delighted to have spent such quality time with him. He later moved to Longmont to expand their business. In addition, Tim helped with management for the Prudential LTM Realtors. Having greater aspirations concerning local commercial development Tim with others opened the Wheeler Commercial Professional Group in Longmont. This company put together a number of projects benefiting Longmont including the Harvest Junction development on the new Highway 119 corridor.Showing an interest in politics, Tim applied and was appointed a member of the Longmont City Planning and Zoning Committee. He enjoyed his position with them not only to be involved with his community, but also to make a difference in its makeup and growth. He also ran two times for City Council unsuccessfully.Active in real estate affairs, Tim served on the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors as a State Representative for the Real Estate Governing Board. He was also a member of the Twin Peaks Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife of Longmont, his parents of Boulder, a son, Chad Hill and a step-son, Steven Merrick, both of Longmont, two brothers, Dan Hill and his wife, Kerrie, of Loveland and Michael Hill and his wife, Susan, of Ft. Collins.Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday April 13, 2006 at LifeBridge Christian Church with Rick Rusaw officiating.
