Timothy Martinez died June 4, 2009 at Hospice Care Center, Louisville. He was 49.Tim was born on January 23, 1960 in Longmont to Victoria Joyce Atencio.Tim worked in the construction trade for a number of years as a plumber. Tim will be remembered for his love of life, his big smile, sense of humor and laughter. He loved the mountains, fishing, and camping.Preceding him in death are his brother Alvin Romero.Surviving are his mother Vickie Barron of Longmont; a son Derek, daughters Tyra and Cara of Longmont; a grandson Dominick; his grandmother Louise Cabrales a sister Kathy Pelle of Longmont; three brothers Kevin Martinez of Longmont, Ambrose Romero of San Jose, California and Tom Atencio of Fleming, Colorado.A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Crematory.Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, at the Howe Mortuary with Domingo Garza officiating.
