
Timothy Joe Miller, 39, of Parker, Colorado, formerly of Frederick, died unexpectedly of kidney failure at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver on Monday, December 10, 2007.Timothy was born July 13, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas to Frank and Patsy (Farley) Miller. After graduating from Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas, he attended Texas Tech University.On February 29, 1992, Timothy married Rebecca Feist in Lubbock. The couple made their home in Lubbock before moving to Colorado in 2000.Timothy was a longtime member of the Secular Discalced Carmelites, and founded the Order located in Lubbock, Texas. He loved the outdoors, hiking in the mountains, and sleeping under the stars on backcountry trips. He had served as a den leader and archery instructor with the Boy Scouts. Tim was passionate about studying the Bible, Latin, theology and philosophy. Mr. Miller was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had been a youth leader for the Knights at St. Theresa?s Catholic Church in Frederick. He was a loving father who cherished the opportunity to home school his son, Christian.He will be greatly missed by his wife, Rebecca Feist-Miller, and son, Christian Miller, of Parker; his mother, Patsy Garner and her husband, Carroll, of Levelland, Texas; his father, Frank Miller and his wife, Stephanie, of Pittsburg, Kansas; a sister, Julie Knietzle of Texas; and a brother, Brent Miller of Reno, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Isaac Andrew Joseph Miller on June 1, 2004.Visitation will be held at Howe Mortuary, Longmont, on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary and visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at St. Theresa?s Catholic Church in Frederick. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at St. Theresa?s with The Reverend Joseph Tran as Celebrant.
