

Tina N. Taylor of Longmont, Colorado, and a former longtime resident of Fulton, Missouri, died early Tuesday morning August 8, 2006 at Timberline Lodge Assisted Living, Longmont. She was 100 years old.She was born on September 26, 1905 at New Hampton, Harrison County, Missouri; the daughter of Ferdnant and Dorcas (Dean) Nation.She grew up in Harrison County, MO where she met her first husband. She married Loren L. ?Pop? Murray on March 29, 1924 at St. Joseph, Missouri. They farmed in Harrison County for several years until drought and depression forced them to find other income. They moved to Fulton in 1937, where Loren worked for Central Dairy and Tina worked a few years in her brother?s cafe, the State Hospital, and the shoe factory. They then bought a large home at 710 Court Street where they lived and she rented out sleeping rooms. Later, they started a taxi business, the Callaway Cab Co., which they operated for about eight years.Tina and Loren Murray had two daughters, Mildred Jean and Mary Ann. While Mildred was actually a niece, born to Tina?s sister, Mollie and her husband John Franklin Ramey; Mildred was just a year old when her mother was killed in a car accident, so she was immediately cared for and later adopted by Tina and Loren.Loren L. ?Pop? Murray died on February 1, 1957 at Fulton. After his early demise, Tina was married in succession to Carson D. ?Jack? Carrington, John ?Russell? Jennings, and William ?Ernest? Taylor; all of whom proceded her in death; leaving her widowed.Shortly after Ernest?s death in 1999, Tina moved to Longmont, CO, to be close to her daughter Mary Ann Rinnert.Like her father, she loved poetry and wrote many poems throughout her lifetime. Many of these have been preserved and are in the possesion of her daughter.She is proceded in death by her parents; four husbands, Loren LeMire Murray, Carson D. Carrington, John Russell Jennings, and Willaim Ernest Taylor; a daughter, Mildred Jean Pricer on 14 August 1985; seven brothers, Earle Patrick Dean, Ferdnant Dean Jr., George Waller Dean, Leonard Dean, Truman Edward Dean, Paul Homer Dean and Donald Irvin Dean; and three sisters, Mollie Mae Ramey, Pearl Ingram and Dorothy Lavonne Gorrell.She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann Rinnert and her husband Jerry of Longmont; a brother Oliver Raymond Dean of Denver; a son-in-law Harold A. Pricer and his wife Margaret of Fairfield, CA; two grandsons Nathan Dean Rinnert of Wellsboro, PA and John Murray Rinnert and his wife, Stacey of Lawrence, KS; and numerous step-children, nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd., Fulton, MO 65251. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
