Tom Bashline of Longmont died November 4, 2011 at his home. He was 42 years old. Tom was born on April 7, 1969 in Panorama City, California, the son of Raymond and Sharron (Keller) Bashline. He moved to Longmont in 1987 from Broomfield and graduated from Broomfield High School in 1988.Tom was a certified athletic trainer and owned and operated T.B. Trainers and Athletic Sports Medicine. For ten years, Tom was a trainer for Brighton High School and most recently was a trainer for the Harlem Globetrotters.He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Tom started the Valley Rodeo Club and was actively involved with kids in high school rodeo, the Colorado Junior Rodeo Association, and many others.Tom is survived by his parents, Raymond and Sharron Bashline of Salem, MO; two brothers, Kevin Bashline (Kelli) and Dennis Bashline (Peggy); two sisters, Robin Lenz (Carl) and RayEllen McDonough; his soulmate, Yvette Reyes and her son Gustyn Montoya and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation has been entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tom Bashline Memorial Fund and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
