Traci A. Crowley, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away at Swedish Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones on January 2, 2016, from complications after a stroke. She was born February 7, 1970 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Sandy and Dan. Traci grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Manchester West High School in 1988. She moved to Colorado to be closer to her sister and worked with Dan Day and Associates in Boulder from the time she arrived. She was an Associate Wealth Management Advisor assisting many clients with their financial security planning. She was admired and respected by her Northwestern Mutual colleagues across the country.
Her passions were numerous. Other than smiling constantly, she enjoyed live music often corralling her friends into expanding their musical horizons. The Colorado outdoors was her playground as she camped, hiked and snowboarded. Creative cooking and pairing meals with any fermented beverage was her newest passion on top of her attendance at any social gathering. Her quick wit, contagious humor, and infectious laughter complemented her bright white smile. Her fashions, her home, and her life were always colorful. She made friends of everyone she met and often promoted those friends and their businesses with inexplicable vigor.
She was especially proud of her loyal fur baby, Louis, who was trained and accepted into the TAILS Program which provide dogs for inpatient therapy at Longmont United Hospital. Louis’ last patient was Traci herself.
Traci is survived by her mother and step-father, Sandy and Andy Dufour; her father and step-mother, Dan and Colleen Crowley; her sister and brother-in-law, Jodi and Brian Hall; her niece Emma and her nephew Maxson; her step-brother Jamie, his wife Amy, their children Hailey and Cody; her love Kenny Alexander; several special aunts and uncles; and countless friends. In Traci’s ultimate spirit of giving she was an organ donor and thus, she will continue to live on in many others.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Church, 2101 Gay Street, Longmont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Traci’s memory may be made to the Longmont Humane Society, 9595 Nelson Rd. Longmont, CO. 80501
