Virginia Eleanor Gray

Virginia Gray, 87 of Longmont, passed away August 19, 2018 in Longmont, CO. Ginny was born June 20, 1931 in Maryland to Norman and Dorothy (Holloway) Cooper. On August 2, 1952 she married Donald Gray. Four children were born from their union. Donald was a Presbyterian minister and his call to ministry led their family to move many times. They spent over 15 years in Rapid City, SD and Ginny faithfully worked alongside her husband in many of the churches.She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald and one son, David Gray. Ginny is survived by three children; John (Elaine) Gray of Longmont, Janice (Randy) Collister of Saguache and Doug Gray of Denver, six grandchildren; Kris (Tim) Flesner, Branda Collister, Heather (Matt) Sheridan, Frank (Enealta) Garcia, Jennifer (David) Kester and Cristopher Garcia and six great-grandchildren; Grayson, Norah, Kacey, Kayden, Kaven and Jedrick. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25 at the Atria Longmont.
