Warren Gib Giberson

Warren E. Gib' Giberson, 76, of Longmont passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.He was born February 20, 1939 in Arvada, CO to George W. and Sadie E. (Briggs) Giberson. He grew up on the family farm in rural Arvada and attended school through the 9th grade. Gib enlisted in the US Army on February 5, 1962 and was honorably discharged on February 4, 1964.Shortly after leaving the Army he located to Longmont, Colorado. Gib was a heavy equipment operator working for Asphalt Paving and Frontier Materials. Injury forced him to an early retirement in 2000.Gib and Pat came together to share their lives and families in 1980.He was a member of Longmont Moose Lodge 1548. He enjoyed gardening, HO and N gauge model railroads, model cars, spending time on his big tractor and fixing things.He was preceded in death by his parents George W. and Sadie E. Giberson.He is survived by his wife Pat; his children Kristi K. (Troy) Miller, Kolby K. (Alicia) Giberson, Karla K. (Ken) Hills, Rodney L. (Joan) Oldfield, Ronald D. (Brenda) Oldfield, and Barney M. (Samantha) Oldfield; his grandchildren Amber Bush, Chelsie Oldfield, Seth Oldfield, Caid Miller, Shaye Miller, Kira Hills, Karson Hills, and Larissa Gourd; and his great grandchildren Sarah, Charlie, Jason, and Daniel.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday April 18, 2015 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
