My condelences to the family.  I was out of town and was not able to attend the service.  Wayne played a postive role in my life and in the lives of many in the Frederick area (from playing basketball in the old gym on Thursday, operating the the movie projector for movie night and the rent a santa program).  Wayne will espically be missed every October at Anderson Farms.  God Bless.

I remember the night I met Wayne. It was a Thursday night in the old gym in Frederick in 1975 when Al Tesone would open it up for pick up games. We were all like ""Who is this Guy""? Turned out to be one of the greatest shooters I've ever played with and I've played with them all.  My brother Dom and I became close friends with Wayne as Wayne was in Dom's wedding. He even came over for Mom's spaghetti every once in a while. He'd take me to Nuggets games in his 1978 BMW which I thought was way cool. We spent hours and hours in those gyms in Frederick. Nobody put the ball through those nets more then Wayne Wells. Our footsteps will be in those gyms forever.

Our condolences to all of Wayne's Family. We regret not being able to attend the service but we extend our prayers to you all. I had the great fortune to play basketball together with Wayne and in one tourney included the twin brother Duane (OMG). When Wayne attended Wyoming I was at CSU so we always enjoyed the ""Border War"" after our university days.  Wayne always had that great smile with a warm greeting for me. Then came Halloween! OMG he was over the top. Many good good memories! I will miss him.

Wayne was an exceptional caregiver to his mother. He was always devoted to caring for her and she adored him. I was honored to know the Wells family and valued my time visiting with Wayne. He loved what he did and it was always great to hear about all his projects at the farm. Wayne was a kind and generous man. My deepest condolences to Mary Anne and all of the family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

What a honor and great experience to have spent three  years of high school with Wayne and brother Duane.

My thoughts and prayers to Mary Ann and all of Wayne's family.  May god bless you during this difficult time.  Wayne was such a fixture in our lives growing up, will cherish all my memories.  What a special man.

Our sincere sympathy to Wayne's family.  We have been remembering those early days in Frederick and all the things Mr. Wells did to make then so more much fun!  From his jokes to scaring us all at those great haunted houses, Wayne was a treat to be around.  He did so much for the community and the kids.  He will be missed.

My body aches at the loss of such a dear friend. He will join his brother Duane in their final resting place. They were both my first friends in grade school. We were inseparable as children and next door neighbors. They both were polite, athletic, and caring human beings. Life was empty with one loss and now the void can never be filled for me. From a very sad old friend, I loved you both, and will pray for your remaining family members.

Our hearts go out to you, and the kids and grandkids. We loved Wayne-o as no doubt everyone else did. Please know you and yours are in our hearts and prayers - as wings of angels surely must be on Wayne's shoulders now.
