Wilbur Lee Fletcher, of Longmont, Colorado, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 75 years old. Wilbur was born on a farm near Lafayette, Colorado on April 27, 1931 to Lee Wilbur and Dorothy Irma (Prince) Fletcher. He graduated in 1949 from Boulder High School and later attended the University of Colorado. He was a lifelong resident of Boulder County. Mr. Fletcher was an avid collector of stamps, postmarks and postcards. He had also been a member of the BPO Elks #556 in Boulder. He is survived by his brother, Jim Fletcher and his wife, Linda, of Longmont; one niece, Michele Holt of Firestone, Colorado; and two nephews, Jeff Fletcher of Longmont and Robert Fletcher of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. No visitation is planned. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Lafayette Cemetery.
