Bill was born to Henry J. Brudwick Jr. and Madoline (née Elliott). He was the second eldest of seven children — three boys and four girls — and cherished his relationships with his brothers and sisters throughout his life.
For the first half of his life, Bill lived in Illinois before relocating to Colorado in 1993, where he resided for the remainder of his years.
A proud United States Marine and Vietnam veteran, Bill served from 1966 to 1969 as a helicopter crew chief and gunner aboard CH-53 aircraft. He flew more than 240 medevac missions in combat, earning multiple medals for valor. He carried deep pride in his service and in the Marines alongside whom he served.
Following his military service, Bill built a long career in sales and marketing. From 1997 until his retirement in 2013, he worked at A-Peak Asphalt, where he led the sales and marketing department.
Bill had a big heart. He never met a person he couldn’t start a conversation with. He always wanted others to feel welcome. His stories were plentiful, his opinions strong, and his presence unmistakable.
He is survived by his loving wife, Adry Anne Brudwick (75), whom he loved and appreciated with all his heart; his sons, Josh (Steph) and Andy (Bre); and his beloved grandchildren, William, Kal, Colin, and Kaidon. His family was his greatest pride and enduring legacy.
