William Allen Floyd

William Allen Floyd passed away at the age of 88. Bill was born April 4, 1932 in Longmont, CO and died June 16, 2020 in Denver, from cancer. He was born to James and Viola Floyd and is survived by his three sons; Jeffrey Floyd (Mary) of Longmont, Timothy Floyd (Shawn) of Arvada and Mark Floyd of Phoenix, AZ; two step children Louis Dark (Becky) of Westminster, Kathy Thompson of Moore, OK and a brother Robert Floyd of Westminster.

He attended school in Longmont, CO. He was a charter member of the Elks Lodge in Westminster and Longmont Moose Lodge. He worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad. Retired from the railroad at the age of 55. Friends and family were extremely important is his life.

He was blessed with more than two dozen grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille and four stepchildren; Roxanne Dark, Arthur Dark, Michele Hirsch and Stanley Dark and his siblings Carl Floyd, Ernest Floyd, Betty Scofield and Patricia Sprague.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
