William Lawrence Gail

William Lawrence Gail, 91, passed away September 7, 2009, at Applewood Living Center. He was born March 27, 1918 in Cordon, Iowa to Oscar Burr Gail and Cora Eva (Owen) Gail. He was married to Wilma Irene Sanders on November 23, 1944.He moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1955 from Ottumwa, Iowa. He worked as an auto body repairman for Glover's Motors in Ottumwa and for Seifert/Suss Pontiac in Aurora. He retired in 1980. He was also a locksmith for several years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching baseball on TV and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.His parents, his wife of 59 years, and son John Gail preceded him in death.He is survived by one son, Michael L. Gail and wife Rainie, of Frederick, CO, daughter Elizabeth English and partner Diane Uebelhart of Sacramento, CA, daughter Melody Blythe and husband Jim of Firestone, CO, former daughter in law, Sally Gail of Sun City, AZ, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at Howe Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Donnie Bennett officiating.
