William "Bill" G. Sipe

Bill was born on February 6, 1931 in Longmont, CO to Claire Earl and Opal Marguerite (Hoff) Sipe. He was raised in Longmont and grew up in the farming community, graduating from Longmont High School in 1949. Bill went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps.

On November 6, 1955 he married Nelda Jean Waggoner in Longmont. Bill was a lifetime farmer and raised hogs until 1996. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Bill was a former President and board member of the Longmont Co-op, High School FFA member, lifetime Farm Bureau member, and member of the Odd Fellows as well as a longtime member of the Liberty Hall Grange. He was a volunteer Mead Firefighter for 10 years.

Bill enjoyed anything to do with farming and being outside; spending time with his family; especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nelda; his parents; and his brothers Glen and Ralph Sipe.

Bill is survived by his daughters Tammy (Perry) Orr, Laurie (Bobby) Sipe-Swanson, Noreen Musick and Jill (Dale) Czajkowski; his grandchildren Chad (Jenna) Musick, Melanie (Bobby) Walker, Cory (Katina) Musick, Kyle (Kylie) Czajkowski, Ben Orr, Maggie Orr and Ellese Czajkowski; and his great-grandchildren Cody, Cade and Madelyn Musick, Emmett, Tucker and Harold Walker.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday April 9, 2025 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday April 10, 2025 at Anderson Farms 6728 County Rd 3 1/4, Erie, CO 80516 with a luncheon to follow. A private family burial will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
