Wilma M Olson (Anderson)

Wilma was born on December 22, 1921 in Longmont, Colorado to Gustav Anderson and Anna Johnson Anderson, early settlers from Sweden. Raised on a local farm, she graduated from Erie High School and later attended 3 years of Business College. She moved to Denver in 1941.

Wilma worked 38 years for Mountain Bell, as a Business Office Supervisor, and thoroughly enjoyed her years with the company.

On June 11, 1970, she married Lawrence Olson, and was married for 36 years. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are three nieces; Jane (Fabian) Sandoval of Longmont, Cindy (Gerry) Peterson of Evergreen and Anne Anderson (Walter Gledhill) of Longmont, two stepdaughters; Kay (Dave) Gartrell of Mead and Mary Helen Gertge of Denver.

Wilma was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church of Longmont.

A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Crematory.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.

A private inurnment will be held at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
