Wilma Colene Sadler

Wilma Sadler passed away May 13, 2023 at the age of 90. Wilma was a lifelong resident of Boulder County. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mable Kirkmeyer, her husband Paul Sadler and her son James Sadler. She is survived by her daughter Paula Sue Bliss and husband John Bliss; and son Stephen Sadler and wife Barb Sadler. She also has five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Wilma graduated from Boulder High School (1950) and married her high school sweetheart Paul. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and spent countless hours going to “ball games, ball games, ball games” and too many horse shows, plays and school events to count. When not doting on her “children” she managed to play golf at least three times a week, bowl twice a week and rarely missed going to a home Denver Broncos game. She also was proud to have attended the first Colorado Rockies baseball game. She was an avid skier back in the days of long skis, moguls and lace up boots!

She was a warrior, having survived cancer 5 times and for over 35 years. Those wanting to can contribute to any worthy Breast Cancer research organization.

Private family celebrations of life will be held in the coming weeks.
