

Larry Zeke O'Nan passed away May 16, 2017 at Life Care Center of Longmont. He was 76 years old. Zeke was born on July 12, 1940 in Lamar, CO to Roy and Margaret O'Nan. He grew up in Longmont, CO and graduated from Longmont High School in 1958, where he played football and ran track, winning a state title in the sprint medley relay team. Zeke married his little carhop from the Hamburger Haven, Faye Nicholson, in Denver in 1961. They were married for 55 wonderful years before his passing.Zeke was a master craftsman and artisan, starting his career with Red Dale Campers before owning his own business, Longs Peak Campers, with his friend Larry Bloom. Later, he and his wife Faye started their own antique business called Just Like Grandmas, where they restored and refurbished antiques for 40 years. Zeke loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, and loved restoring his 46' Chevy pickup with the help of his good friend Harold. He delivered for Meals on Wheels with Faye and maintained his physical wellness though his Parkinson's exercise class with GZ Sobol's Parkinson's Network.Even though he had Parkinson's for 14 years, it never held Zeke back. He continued to live his life to the fullest.Zeke was preceded in death by his father Roy, his mother, Margaret, and brother Martin.He is survived by his wife Faye; his daughters Tracy (Steve) Smith and Pam (Randy) Kleiner; his grandchildren Garrett and Sophie Smith and Quentin and Jaiden Kleiner; and his brother Lloyd (Kathy) O'Nan.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
