Adrian Sean Hombroek

(Adrian) Sean was born on March 15, 1996 to Cheryl L. Rogers and Phillip C. Hombroek in Portsmouth, England.

He is preceded by his grandparents, Adrian and Sarah Hombroek and Louise Lovelace, and Alviron VanDriessen.

Sean is survived by his wife, Jessica Lunsford, his three sons, Adrian Hombroek Jr., Noah Davis, and Zach Lunsford, all of Louisville; his parents Cheryl Rogers-Davis (Jeremy) of La Conner, Washington and Phillip Hombroek (Jeanette Berryman) of Prospect, Kentucky; and his siblings Stephanie and Staci Hombroek both of Louisville. Sean is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Paco.

Sean was a very proud welder and hobbyist who enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He loved spending time with family and loved a wide variety of sporting activities. He was a highly competitive wrestler during his high school career and was ranked in the top 10 of his weight class. One of his favorite past times was playing Xbox and socializing with others online. He was a devoted family man and loyal friend. He loved family football night, rooting for the Florida Gators and the Louisville Cardinals. He enjoyed all dogs, especially his dear Paco, and would even rescue them when presented the opportunity. He was a loving husband and great father to his two young sons. Spending quality time with his boys was always his true joy.

Sean lived his life vicariously and followed his own path. Anyone who met him realized quickly that he had a very special zest for life. He was not afraid to take risks and loved his close friends dearly. He was often considered the life of the party, and those that met him would agree his smile could light up the room. It goes without saying that Sean will be greatly missed by many, his children, wife, family, extended family, close friends, and countless others.

Guests are invited to a visitation from 12-3pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Arch L. Heady Westport Village 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222. A funeral service will follow at 3pm, at the same location. Private Gravesite services will be held at Resthaven cemetery on Monday August 16th.
