your mom would always ask well where is my hug .. both your mom and dad are great examples of Christians .. they just didn't just talk the walk they lived it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the world was a better place to b with them  on it ....their smile was and warm hearts showed their love for Jesus u could see Jesus love in their smiles and hearts and lives!! may you all have the peace that can only come from God !!!love you all.

Dear Connie, D'Anna, Lisa and Emelyn,
I received word tonight of the loss of both your mom and dad.  I just cannot believe it, please say it isn't so.  Your parents were the most amazing, generous, kind, warm, welcoming next door neighbors that any family could ever dream of; and they actually were real.  Your entire family to me is the epitomy of a Christ filled life.  Such love and devotion.  I visited your folks when I was in Louisville 2 years ago, and your Mom opened the door to my unexpected visit just like I was family.  They showed me the pictures from the 50th wedding celebration and I had such a nice visit.  What your folks meant to my parents was the world - knowing their next door neighbors were their most precious friends - and your parents did so many acts of kindness for my parents.  To say thank you just isn't enough.   I am so sorry for your loss.  Please let me know what I can do in this sad time for your entire family.
I wish I had known just a day sooner,  as I would have come to the funeral today, but please except my heart felt sympathy.

To be absent in the body is to be present with The Lord.  I pray for peace for your family.
