Beulah M Wilkerson

Beulah "Bea" Wilkerson, 85, passed away on January 25, 2025. She was born on July 23, 1939, in Cecilia, KY, and had lived in Louisville, KY, before settling in Eastview, KY. Bea worked as a cashier at the Kentucky International Convention Center for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Rosie Duvall; her husband, Jerry Wilkerson; her brother, Melvin Duvall; her sister-in-law, Norma Jean Duvall; her brother-in-law, Howard Miller; her son-in-law, Clarence Deakins; her daughter-in-law, Deborah Skaggs; her son, Earnie Wix; her daughter, Pamela Wix; and her nephew, Stevie Duvall.

Beulah is survived by her sister, Linda Miller; her children, Karen Deakins, Timothy (Margie), Kenny and Anthony Skaggs, Michael Wix, Melissa Howell, and Stacy Rone (Tony); her grandchildren, Shannon Breitenfeld (Mike), Jennifer Evridge (Steve), Melinda Larimore (Owen), Leanne Ross (Chris), Cathy Huff, Christy Watkins (Kevin), Glenda Humphrey (Todd), Anthony Skaggs Jr., Sherydan Bloomhuff (Kevin), Timothy Skaggs Jr., Lauren and Jason Howell, Danielle Gowers (Kyle), and Seth Rone; 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and nieces Carolyn Bentley and Rosonna Reeves (Kerry), as well as nephews Chris Miller (Tina) and Lewis Duvall (Marnie).

Bea’s visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 2-8 p.m., and Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Mount Zion Cemetery in Henryville, IN.

Beulah will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and her warm, loving presence. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
