Bobby loved playing jokes on his friends and family and he especially enjoyed teasing everyone saying, “Go home – you’re fired”! Bobby always had his radio in his hand listening to music. Going on outings, Bobby enjoyed the Summer Catholic Picnics, Texas Roadhouse, bingo with his sisters, and going to the State Fair to see Freddy Farmer.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Burns and Yukie Ishii Burns.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Debbie Mills, Bunnie Richie (Johnny Merriweather); nieces and nephews, Robbie Young, Michael Burns Sr.,
LaDonna Burns, Adrian Richie, Evelyn Richie; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and his loving and compassionate Cedar Lake Lodge family.
Visitation for Bobby will be Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 4pm – 8pm at Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, 40272. His Funeral Service will be Friday, October 2, 2026 at 11am at the funeral home with burial immediately following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Hwy. 40272.
