2013 surrounded by his loving
Family. He was a retired Lt Colonel
For the US Army and a veteran of
The Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was also employed by the Louisville
Arson Squad, St. Matthews Police
Dept., Aetna Insurance Co. and
Jefferson Co. Pre-trial Services.
He worked for the US Census Bureau
On the 2010 Decennial Census.
His memberships included the
Dixie Louisville Kiwanis Club,
Retired Officers Association and
The International Assoc. of Arson
Investigators.
He also was an avid volunteer
For the Jefferson Co. Police David
District Citizens Advisory Board, the Alley Cat
Program and the Center for Courageous
Kids. He honored every fallen Kentucky service man
and woman with a wreath,a plaque and
the American Flag displayed at half- mast.
He was preceded in death by
Son, Bobby, Jr.; parents, Willie and
Anna LaVada Michael and son in law,
Edward Drescher.
Survivors include his loving wife
Of 61 years, Mary Helen Wilkerson
Son, Thomas(T.C.) Michael(Sam);
Daughters, Stephanie Vihlidal(Larry),
Whitney Chandler(Ron), Susan Schutte(Robert)
And Melanie Drescher;
Brother, WC Michael (Barbara); sister, Billie Jean
Habermehl; 11 grandchildren and 3
Great grandchildren.
His servi ce will be Monday, 10am
At the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and
Cremation Service with burial in Kentucky
Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff,
Kentucky. Visitation will be on Sunday from
2-8pm at the funeral home.
