Brandon Howard

Brandon Paul Howard, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. Born on Sunday, April 13, 1980, he found joy in the simple things in life—target shooting, long gaming sessions, and unwinding with a cigarette and a drink among friends.

Brandon was known for his sharp edge and fearless sense of humor. He had a way of calling things exactly as he saw them, which could make him a handful at times. Yet beneath that toughness was an unmistakably warm heart—the kind that showed up when it mattered most and cared deeply when it counted. He was a force to be reckoned with and a teddy bear all at once.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laymon and Ramona Hayes, and his great-grandparents, Paul and Verna Davis.

Brandon is survived by his loving parents, Robin and Chuck Hitsman; his sisters, Brittany Summers (formerly Hitsman) (Terry) and Kayla McCauley (formerly Hitsman) (Jordan); his brother, Matthew Hitsman; his nieces, Oakley and Evie Summers; his brother from another mother, Justin McPherson; and his sisters from another mister, Amanda Martin and Ashley Green—along with a shit ton of lifelong friends who will carry his memory forward.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, on April 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, on April 7, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Committal will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272, US, on April 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
