Brenda Sue Browning

Brenda Sue Browning, a beloved and cherished resident of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 11, 1951, Brenda led a life characterized by her hard-working nature and the profound affection of her family and friends.

Brenda loved to read and go to the library. She was a proud homemaker, enjoyed tending to her floral garden, and loved her family so very much. Her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchild, and her siblings, were everything to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mark Steven Browning Sr. whom she was married to for 47 years. Her parents Catherine Vinell (Watkins) and Frank Wade, and her brothers Frank Wade Jr. "Junior" and Jimmy Wade.

She is survived by her children Steve Browning Jr. (Amanda), and Pat Browning (Jessica). Grandchildren Mark Steven Browning III, and Kelsie Thompson (Dane). Great-granddaughter Paisley Thompson, and her siblings Jerry Wade, Mark Wade, Ronald Wade, and Annette Whitfill, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services to honor Brenda's memory will be held at the Advantage Funeral Home-Hardy Chapel, located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. A visitation will take place on December 17, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service is scheduled for December 18, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160, on December 18, 2025, at 1:30 pm.

Brenda's memory will remain in the hearts of those she cherished and the legacy she built.
