I am so sorry to hear of Carla's passing. I had not seen or talked to her since early high school days. Carla was one of a group friends that I had in elementary school, OLC, and on to high school. She was always the life of the party. Even though we had not talked or seen each other for many years, she has always been part of the memories and stories that have been shared with longtime friends. We had some great adventures and much laughter amongst us.. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear that you have passed. You were one of my first friends from OLC along with Bev Pate (Munnell) and Sheila Purcell. I have fond memories of being at your house and us girls hanging out.

I recently found a picture of us along with Bev, Sheila, Soozi and Mary at our grade school graduation... we were ready to take on the world!

I didn’t realize the family lost Terry also. My condolences to all of the Hodgkin family. It’s been years since we have seen each other or talked but I know your parents and Jack are happy you’re with them now.

RIP in God’s hands my friend .. ❤️

We have lived next to Carla and Jack for 25 years. They were so loving to our kids when they were little. They even bought a small pony to keep so our kids would have a pony to ride. Jack shared many horse stories and even gave him a cowboy hat and one of his special belt buckles he had won. Carla would always have the kids over for cookies and had carrots ready for them to feed the animals. Much love to you Carla and glad you and Jack are together again. Carla and I have been neighbors since August 2004. I moved in across the street and she and Jack were so kind to me. Jack offered to bush hog my ditch when he helped me pull my riding mower out. I know Carla and Jack were very much in love. Carla was definitely a special kind of gal. She was strong, kind, helpful and a real spitfire. After Jack passed, my husband would hep her with little chores. She will be missed but I’m glad she and Jack are back together again. Much love and prayers to the family.

My sincere condolences to my cousins in the loss of Carla and Terry. Even though we have not been in contact in many years, when we were kids and our families were able to spend time together in Kentucky or Illinois Carla and I shared so many fun times, since she and I were closest in age. She will always have a special place in my heart of childhood memories. I remember her smile and sense of humor and a bit of mischievous fun. My memories of all of you and Uncle Bud and Aunt Dorothy will always be special, and you are all in my thoughts. Elaine (Prince) McCarthy

Carla, I’m gonna miss you. When I was feeling lonely and feeling down I could always come over and you would more than entertain me. You were my family and I loved you to pieces. I hate that you’re gone, but I know how bad you wanted to be with your Jack, you always told me what a perfect man he was to you, I hope to find my Jack one day. I also want you to know, I’ll follow through with my promise and make sure all your babies get taken care of. I already have rescues notified. Rest easy my friend. ❣️
