She is preceded in death by her Parents Ruth and and Carl Hawkins, her husband of 48 years Kenneth Milby, and her son Tony Milby.
She was retired and during her life she she worked a few jobs while supporting her husband in his career. She worked as a youth teacher at Chapel Park Baptist Church, she was on the kitchen committee at Fairdale First Baptist, a counselor at the women's prison in Pewee Valley, line worker at the Powder Plant in Indiana, ColorCraft photo processing in Louisville, served on the ladies auxiliary with the Okolona Fire Department,stock worker at K-Mart in Fairborn, Ohio, church secretary at Fairborn Baptist Church in Fairborn, Ohio.
She was an avid bowler and started out bowling on leagues with her father and was on bowling leagues with her daughters Carmen and Tammy as well.
She is survived by daughters Carmen Crume, Tammy Woyak (Tony), and Tracy Scovill; her three sisters, Shirley Richard, Bonnie Fenwick, Connie Livers; her grandchildren, Joshua Marlman (Chanda), Robert Crume III (Holly), Jonathan Marlman (Rachel), Matthew Hicks (Casey), Emily Thomason (Travis), Justin Woyak (Torie); great grandchildren Chase, Skylar, Jordan, Jaxson, Braylen, Ashleigh, Forrest, Bo, Silas, Caroline, Catherine, Emilia, Henry, and Noah.
Carolyn trusted Jesus as her savior and served him in many ways during her life here on Earth.
Visitation will be held at Schoppenhorst Funeral & Cremation Services at Okolona, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40219, on August 24, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Hill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 55 Ammons Lane, Guston, Kentucky 40142
