Catherine (Cathy) Yates Chamberlain, 84, of Louisville, entered into eternal rest late, Thursday, September 27th 2013 at the Norton Hospice Unit, Louisville, Kentucky. She was born November 26, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Paul and Lola Randall. She married Raymond G. “Ray” Yates on June 21, 1947 who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a second husband William “Bill” Chamberlain and a brother Richard Randall. Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Pam Cissell (Reece), and son James (Jimmy) Yates. She was a proud grandmother (Mammaw) to two granddaughters, Shannon (Matt) and Jennifer (Bryce) and a grandson, Brandon. She was also survived by 5 great-grandchildren Hailey, Stephen, Tabitha, Jacob, and Caleb. Cathy was also survived by her nephew, Richard (Richie) Randall Jr. She had a special place in her heart for 4 amazing caregivers; her “honorary grandchildren” Shondra, Kee-sha, Tristan, and Marissa. She loved to eat and enjoyed playing cards, Bunko, and bingo with her friends and family. She also loved her dog, Lucy and her beautiful roses. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
