98, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 10, 2016. He worked as a coal miner in Eastern, KY and then retired from Ohio River/Solite Sand Co. He was a WWII veteran of the Navy and Army and a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Elizabethtown, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nora Disney; brothers, Ed, Clarence Jr. and Roy; sisters, Opal Payne, Jewell Barnes and Dovie Geary. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Emma Frances; sons, Thomas(Linda) and Charles(Paulette); sisters, Betty England(Herbert) and Christine Precht; 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8pm at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY. On Thursday visitation will be from 11am till time of service at 1pm at his church, Calvary Assembly of God , 1905 North Miles Street, Elizabethtown, Ky with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
