

A proud United States Army veteran, Charles was also a devoted deacon at Hillsdale Baptist Church and a retired truck driver with 46 years of dedicated service. He found great joy in spending time with his family, and his strength, faith, and love left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Estella Sheakley; his grandson, Christopher Epley; granddaughter, Megan Wilkins; and his brother, Richard Sheakley.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Norma Jean Sheakley; his six children: Dennis Sheakley (Janie), David Sheakley (Stacy), Darrell Sheakley, Donald Sheakley (Sandy), Douglas Sheakley (Monica), and Denise Wilkins (Kenny), Doris Sheakley; his sister, Ruth Sheakley; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish his memory. Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160.
