Scotty is survived by his Parents, Eric and Jackie Bruce; Fiancé, Kayla Peyton; Children, Miley Peyton, Krislynn Peyton, Brentle Peyton, Waylen Bruce; Sisters, Misty Humphrey (Josh), Heather Bruce; Brother, Dustin Bruce. His funeral and visitation will be private. Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel is entrusted to handle arrangements.

I worked with Scotty as one of his counselors over the last year and had real respect for his sincerity and honesty in trying to change. It's a tough battle , especially in these tough times we are living in. I am so sorry for your loss and can only remember Scotty as a fine young man who loved his family and had goals and dreams

Me and Scotty go back some years. I remember when I first met him he had this 4wheeler stuck in the ditch by circle k. He came.running out the ditch screaming something about spiders all over him. Lol. I'm going to miss you man, I wish I could have seen you one last time. Rest easy bro, you ain't got to fight no more. Love you
