Christopher Alan Marcum, 58, passed peacefully into eternity, Tuesday morning, July 17 at Audubon Hospital. Chris was the son of Nancy and Sam Farmer of Largo, Florida. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years, Holly Marcum. He is also survived by his daughter Sara Nicole Dunn, son in law Greg Dunn, and their beautiful son, his grandson, Harrison Rhett Dunn.
He will be sadly missed by his sister, Rebecca Lee Reed, Louisville and brothers Peter Charles Marcum and wife Jane, Nashville and Scott Farmer and wife Rose, Houston and their families. He is predeceased by brother Michael Farmer.
His late father in law Mack Hodges always thought of Chris as a son, and mother in law, Wilda, and sister in law Delilah loved him.
Chris retired from Ford Motor Company as a Pipefitter. He was a member of the Louisville 502 Plumbers and Pipefitter. He loved to fish, golf and hunt.
Chris was saved and gave his life to the Lord at Pond Creek Baptist Church, Shepherdsville, Ky., and he will be met with loving arms in heaven by the Heavenly Angels and friends and family who will welcome him home with joy and celebration.
There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering later in the month.
