Coleton was wise beyond his years, funny, stubborn, creative, and deeply loved. He had a sharp sense of humor and a deep love for music, gaming, cars, and the mountains. His favorite place on earth was the Dolomites, where he felt most at peace taking in the quiet beauty of the mountain vistas around him. He was incredibly mechanically inclined with a natural ability to understand how things worked and solve problems. He loved working with his hands and could fix or figure out just about anything he set his mind to.
Coleton had big dreams for his future. He had hoped to join the Air Force and was excited for the life he planned to build. He approached life with curiosity, determination, and a desire to find his own path in the world.
Coleton faced cancer with extraordinary strength and resilience. Even through unimaginable challenges, he continued fighting to hold onto the things he loved and the people he loved most. His courage left a lasting impact on everyone who followed his journey.
He is survived by his parents, Ashley and Chris Cook; his sister, Jillian Cook; his grandparents, Danielle and Brad Smithhart, Jan and Jeff Richardson, and Jack and Angela Cook; his uncles and aunts, Aaron Soto (Meredith), Ryan Smithhart (Megan), Tony and Kendra Cook, Emily Richardson, and Joseph and Brittany Shumate. He also leaves behind many loving cousins, Hannah, Kenlee, Sam, Tucker, Oliver, Ryker, Serana, Alyanna, and Lukas.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Brett Butler.
He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Finn.
Though our hearts are shattered, we are endlessly proud to be his family. Coleton will forever be loved, missed, and remembered.
