He was a truck driver for J & J Transport and a mason.
Mr. Spillman was preceded in rest by his parents, Charles and Barbara Spillman; two sons, Little Sammy and Joshua Spillman; a stepson, William Cochran; and three sisters, Sharon, Patty and Jaine.
He is survived by his spouse of 28 years, Katie Spillman; two stepchildren, Shawn and Kimberly Cochran; five grandchildren, Karline, Shoshawna, Savannah, Anthony and Ki'mya; a brother, Charles Spillman; brother-in-law, Jerry Preston; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be on Tuesday, January 2nd at 6pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service.
