David Charles Curth

The family of David Charles Curth sadly announces the news of his death at the age of 92 following a long illness. David was the second son of Ralph and Norma (Darling) Curth. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in business. This led him to a career in the insurance industry, mainly with the Ford Group Office of John Hancock Insurance.

David married Sondra Diane Peters in Meadville, PA on December 29th, 1962. He and Sondra raised their two children in Dearborn, Michigan. David was a good, kind and gentle man who always tried (and usually succeeded!) to follow the Ten Commandments and lead a Christian life. His legacy is his fine family and their successive generations.

Preceding David in death were his parents, brother Douglas, nephew Bruce, grandnephew Micah Curth and grandniece Ashley Curth. Left to honor his memory in addition to his wife, are his daughter Anita Catherine Burns (John); son Daniel Charles Curth (Michael); treasured grandsons John David Burns, Gavin Charles Curth, Garret Keith Curth; nephew Dale Curth (Connie) and their children Douglas Curth (Jen) and Laura Ellis (Tony) and Bruce's sons Tyler and Travis Curth.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Christ Episcopal Church in Meadville, followed by a burial at Greendale Cemetery there.
